Join the Jefferson County History Center on
September 1, 2018 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds.
The Jefferson County History Center will host the 13th annual Antique Firearms & Indian Artifact Show on Saturday, September 1 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Jefferson County Fair Grounds in Brookville. The show is indoors with over 100 tables filling two exhibit buildings.
One of buildings will feature vendors displaying and selling all types of pre-1898 antique rifles, accouterments and other items of interest to the hobby. There is a strong showing of local 19th century gunsmiths from this area.
The other building will feature collections for show and sale of historic and prehistoric Indian artifacts from this region.
Other activities throughout the day include, flintknapping, and an atlatl throw and competition sponsored by the World Atlatl Association.
There will also be food available, a door prize, and a raffle for a 50 cal. full stock flintlock
